Osteoarthritis affects a common kind of bone disease that mainly develops in older adults. It leads to the wear and tear of cartilage, the cushiony tissue that pads the ends of bones in a joint. Several causes can contribute osteoarthritis, including family history, older age, high body mass index and joint damage. Symptoms differ from person to
